For reasons well done (sound sync problems) you choose optical, speakers or headphone from the TV. If the sound bar has these jacks we need to know the model numbers but I don't see full model numbers so good move to not buy a thing.
The KIT at http://forums.cnet.com/7723-13973_102-634141/use-headphones-with-hd-tv/?tag=contentBody;threadListing would suffice if we split off the analog audio to most sound bars.

I need to know if this is possible, if so what can I do and what do I need.
I have a Samsung lcd flat screen about 6 yrs old. I have the (out) fiber optical hooked up to the tv and have the same optical hooked up to my sound bar (in). Everything works fine so far. I did not purchase the Sony head phones yet because I need some info. These head phones have rca white and red cables. How can I have the optical hooked up to the tv and the head phones at he same time so I can listen thru the head phones and my wife still can hear the sound bar sound at the same time. Is this possible or what other options do I have. Thanks
