Re: R. Proffitt

The prices are $400 each, and yes, I want to buy a phone for atleast 3 years. I could squeeze $40 more bucks for an OP3T, but is it worth it though?

No sale. And not for the reasons I noted above.

Both maker and seller didn't answer your questions. At 3 years, I find many phones needed a battery along the way. With major makers and models that sell nearly a million you can find parts, batteries and such.

Galaxy S6 the best choice?

So is the SGS6 the best choice over all? Or do you have any other suggestions for a phone to buy? I'd gladly accept themHappy

I'm not a salesperson or in sales.

Here's a thing.

I've been working with companies writing and fixing Android aps for about a decade now and have yet to find that the CPU make matters. Android shields us from worrying too much about the CPU make or architecture.

As to your choice you didn't tell the price so is this a BIG COMMITMENT on your part? If so, stick with Samsung since you can get batteries and small parts as there are so many out there.

Difficult one

The S6 is almost 2 years old, on that basis alone I'd go for the Honor 8. The OnePlus 3T has better software and bigger screen so don't rule that out either.
