Honda 2007 CRV

by gwingee / August 21, 2007 10:05 AM PDT

I have a new 2007 CRV and have had 3 issues with it..the main one being the starter...every few weeks..I turn the key..DEAD..turn again..starts..Honda HQ will not give me a new car..will not keep this one there and give me a rental for more than a few days..they need to keep for a few weeks for it to happen. I have been to the dealer 14 times now..they keep the car a few days and give me a rental then call to say..they cant duplicate it. I paid in full when I got it and I hate this suv now. I always had toyota's..I do not know why I did not stick with Toyota. Is there nothing I can do now? Am I going to have to lose money by trading it in for a toyota? I can not believe Honda will not do more. I am very upset. I have not enjoyed having a new car at all.

other issues?

What are the other issues? You said there were 3 but only mentioned the one.

I am surprised that Honda simply won't replace the starter. Starters are not expensive so it should be an easy fix. And since you paid in full they should give you the benefit of the doubt and take your word for it. Have they taken out the starter to inspect it?

Does your SUV just not start on the first turn of the key sometimes but on the 2nd turn it starts? My Lexus has done that a couple of times since buying it but it always starts on the 2nd turn of the key.

the other issues were the tire pressure monitor light...never went off from day 1...the airbag passenger light stayed on and it was not supposed to..Honda says they don't see anything wrong when they do the diagnostics...they SAID they changed the started, but it is still happening..it does start at the 2nd try..but what concerns me is on 2 occasions it was not the dead start..it did click click once and
the other time like it was trying to turn over..but again on the second
turn of the key it started right up. I really feel that I should be given a different crv..but they do not want to do that. I am very unhappy with this vehicle.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
