Homepage problem

Feb 23, 2004 2:07AM PST

I use IE. Even though I change my homepage every time, I find it the same and unfortunately this is a web site I never assigned as homepage. In addition, I have 4 web sites in my favorites that I have never added and even though I delete them, every time I reboot I see them again in my favorites. I tried to fix that problem with ad-aware but the problem remains. Please help

Try SpybotS&D:

The download for Spybot S&D is available here:
http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd

Install by double-clicking on the downloaded file.
Run Spybot S&D from desktop icon or Start menu.
Press "Search for updates" button to get list of updates available.
Press "Download updates" button.
Close all IE windows and close & restart Spybot S&D.
Press "Check for problems" button.
Have SpyBot remove all it marks in red by pressing "Fix selected problems"

"I have 4 web sites in my favorites that I have never added and even though I delete them, every time I reboot I see them again in my favorites"

If these are the Microsoft coded entries, you also have to share which ones. But I will share that a search of Google with the right words is how I pull up how to remove the Microsoft coded entries.
