I lucked out and was there when it dropped. Not saying it's that but the phone rang and all WiFi dropped out. Looked around and found an old 2.4GHz cordless phone. Removed that from power and the issue stopped.
Imagine if the next door neighbor had this. If you can, see if there is 5GHz support and try other WiFi channels.
Question. In my home I have a Apple AirPort Extreme, (about 3+yrs old) and also an Airport Express, same age.
I use an iMac which is next to the Comcast modem and Apple router, with no problems.
I notice of late that when I use my iPad 3 or my iPhone 6 I drop the WiFi connection.
When I go to Settings and select airplane mode, wait a few seconds and reconnect most of the time the connection returns????
Any thoughts on why this may be happening and how to fix it.
Apple Store Techie tells me both routers are in working condition NOT their fault.
Would appreciate your thoughts and a fix before I go bonkers.
Thanks,
Gsjr
