home theatre

I just bought the yamaha dsp 800 sound projector. Any hints for set up. Should I hook an amplifier receiver to it, I already have a subwoofer hooked up to it.

Why the YSP?

In reply to: home theatre

I've been looking at the YSP-800, and have also been considering the Sony DAV-X1V and SoundMatters. What made you go with the Yamaha? Thanks.

I had an onkyo 7.1 surround sound hooked up and the yamaha puts it to shame. There may be others out there just as good, but the yamaha is blowing me away with its NATURAL surround sound. I mean last nite I watched war of the worlds on it, and at one time I felt the sound was going through me.
