Hello Everyone: I hope someone can help me out. I currently have an HDTV and HD receiver. I am connecting the two with a HDMI cable. I am want to get setup with home theater, but I am a little confused on what to get. I know that HDMI 1.3 receiver will start coming out later this year. Should I just wait for that? Or is it okay to buy a receiver that does not have HDMI, turn off the sound from the tv speakers and use the A/V receiver for sound only.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
