Home theater system input problem

I have the Samsung home theater / blu ray system HT-E6500W. I recently upgraded my directv equipment and somehow after installation my input function got changed. I had it set up to always be on the HDMI1 input when turning on all of my components ( tv,directv receiver and the home theater). Now when turning everything on, the hts comes on in the HDMI1 input but after about 15 seconds it switches to the BD/DVD input function. How do I get the input function to stay on HDMI1 so I don't have to make that adjustment every time I turn my components on? Thanks
