Home Theater System HT-C7530W

Recently my Home Theater System will no longer play DVD's. I opened a ticket with Samsung ( 4 months ago) and they say they are still working on a firmware upgrade. I get the following error message: Cannot load this disc. Check the disc every time. All other features work fine. Any ideas on what I should do... I've tried everything they recommended and it still doesn't work.

I have an active open ticket with Samsung support (2132672213) every time I contact them they tell me that they have passed on the request but can't force them to finish it. I also checked with support and they want $80 just to take a look at it. The system is too old to warrant spending $200 or more to fix the problem. I was hoping someone else on this forum had a similar problem and was able to fix it.

Usually such things need to go back to Samsung or if it's new enough you return it to the seller for a working model. The Service Issues post gives you another avenue to push for resolution.
