Home Printer/Copier that "Mirror Image" COPIES

Dec 2, 2010 12:13PM PST

I have been trying for weeks to find an affordable wireless home printer/copier that will COPY a "Mirror image" of a document. My wife does quilting and needs to make frequent "mirror image" copies of patterns and the like. Again, this is a function of the printer/copier NOT from the computer PRINT menu. Appreciate all reommendations. Thanks in advance.

Sounds as if you may need a scanner, from where are you getting and trying to print the items?

Items are basically hard copies of patterns from quilting kits. We had an HP printer that did Mirror Image copying but the machine died.

Sounds like what you had was a PRINTER/SCANNER/COPIER and you used the COPY mode or you may have scanned the item(s) in and saved to file. In any case sounds as if that is what you need, there are lots of them out there.

No special printer required

You don't need any special features on the printer. Once you get an image into your PC you can use almost any image editing program (such as Paint, that comes with windows) to FLIP the image.

Don

Nowadays there are lots of options to make sure that printing will only reveal the results that are closest to reality and it may come from the printer features or its peripherals. All you have to do is search online and become specific with your preferences to make sure that you will only be investing on the printer that can suit you perfectly.
