"a Belkin wireless router and 802.11b cards to share the internet but they don't communicate between each other or share the printers."
The usual causes are:
1. You installed firewalls and they are working. Hint: Disable doesn't work for most.
2. You didn't share the printers.

Hello all,
I need to set up a home network and I'm getting very confused.
I have cable modem and vonage cable phone.
I have a desktop and two laptops that need to communicate wirelessly. They also need to access two printers, a fax and a scanner.
I currently have a Belkin wireless router and 802.11b cards to share the internet but they don't communicate between each other or share the printers.
What do I need to do?
I can't seem to find a good writeup explaining how to set it up. I get really confused between routers, access points, bridges, switchboards...
Thanks
Nick
