Question

Home Network Tips needed.

Heres what I'm working with.

Internet Provider Time Warner Ultimate

Cable Modem: Netgear CMD31T
Router: Apple Airport Extreme Base Station Mid 2011

Tech Connected
5 Iphones
2 Laptops
4 Ipads
Playstation 4
Xbox One(Wired connection)
Home Computer(Wired Connection)

I have been experiencing slow connections in terms of Surfing the internet, online gaming and video streaming(Hulu, Netflix, youtube, Etc) as of late. I live in a very small one level home and while i understand that i have a lot of devices connected i am wondering if my router is the issue.
I have little knowledge of these things. I am curious if this could be a router issue, Modem issue, or both. is it time to upgrade?

Any Help would be appreciated.

While I did upgrade my router to dual core powered router I didn't read where you tested it with all but one of those things connected.

http://blog.dlink.com/4-reasons-processing-power-matters/ is a short read but not the maker I used.

There is a simple thing going on here. Sharing your internet like that does slow it down. The router is dated but working. I find some clients won't change a router without a dissertation on the subject. I don't write those.
