I've found so many run port scans and not know this basic truth. Those that sell firewall apps won't tell you this.
Hello,
Tried a home network scan using the Acrylic WiFi home program.
Not too sharp with this "stuff," frankly.
If someone has a spare minute, and can perhaps tell me what each
of these eight or so lines that came up mean, and their significance, would be most appreciative.
Trying to learn; really.
e.g. what are the numbers/tcp, and the others ?
For example, on the Enterprise D-5 line, there's a -257 ?
And there are lines like this one...
135/tcp open msrpc
139/tcp open netbios-ssn
445/tcp open microsoft-ds
902/tcp open iss-realsecure
912/tcp open apex-mesh
6646/tcp open unknown
Thank you very much; really appreciate the help,
Bob
