Home Entertainment Stands?

Does anyone have a good home entertainment TV stand retailer that makes stands at budget prices? A while back a friend broke my middle glass shelf of my current TV stand so right now I'm being ultra ghetto and standing up my center channel speaker with CD cases.

I've been scoping out and but everything looks kinda meh to me.

go to walmart

In reply to: Home Entertainment Stands?

Walmart has 1 for around $190.00 that seems
to be the best value. My dad got one for his
52" samsung and i really like it. Glass shelves,
swivel bracket, and nice framework. They preassemble
it so all you have to do is mount the spacers and
brackets to the back of the t.v. and hang it on the
crossbeam. Don't know if their website shows it but
i looked everywhere for quality versus pricing and this
1 met both criteria. Hope this helps. Costco had 1 similar
for $250.00 but i liked the 1 at walmart the best.

I'll check it out, thanks. I wish I could just replace the stupid glass shelf that broke in mine but it is no longer made and it is an odd half-circle shelf shape.

You have "biglot" in your area?

They have a glass tv stand for 99 bucks. I know Lowies also have glass shelves and spacers. maybe take a look there and see if you can find what you need.

what is your tv model?

In reply to: Home Entertainment Stands?

if it's a flat panel, i would do my best in using three identical front speakers, upright, same plane. wall mount tv. just fwiw.

if not possible, maybe racksandstands or standsandmounts have something for you?

TV model

In reply to: what is your tv model?

My TV model is the Sony 50" KDS-50A2000 SXRD. I checked out stands made specifically for the TV, but they have crappy shelf space, so I'll keep looking.

I already have a Infinity PC350 center speaker to fit in the stand. I just need to take measurements of my current stand and shelf space requirements and look harder. My center channel speaker is large and heavy so that might me the limiting factor as far as stands go.
