If you research BluRay they have a system of copy protection (the studios, not Samsung) and they change it to try to keep ahead of the pirates like an arms race. Frankly I found the entire situation unacceptable and my BluRay collection is up to all of 6 titles.
So why can't anyone but Samsung and the studios fix this? Because the firmware in the players need to be revised with each new copy protection the studios deploy.
At some point you see where manufacturers will start telling us our players won't be updated. If this is not an old player and say in warranty I'd try to return it for a new model that plays the titles. Repeat that as long as you can.
Yes we are in the UK, but I'm sure there is a clever person out there that can assist. Our blu ray system (HT-C6930W/XEU) will not play newer Blu-ray Discs, that is any thing under3 months old. We've even changed the disk to see if there's a fault with the disk or not. Help needed as not happy with response from samsung uk
