Question

"Home Cinema" setup help

Jun 30, 2014 11:12PM PDT

Hi I'm Steven.

Im trying to connect my TV and my Bluetooth receiver to my 2.1 (simple) boxsystem.
I've got a '1x female to 2x male' kable that should do the trick, but now i have this problem.

When i'm watching tv, the sound is good. But when I try to listen to music via my bluetooth receiver (TV is turned off at this point) the music sound really muffled.

When i pull the aux cable out of my tv, there is no problem with the sound from the bluetooth receiver. So i think some of the music is going into my tv or something.

Any ideas on how i can get my sound to be good without have to pull the cord from my tv every time?

Tnx in advance
Gr Steven

Answer
Ahh, that 1x to 2x looks to be the problem.

But how

But the problem only occures when im trying to play bluetooth sound.. Not when i turn on my tv..
ive switched the outlets, same result. It seems to me that the tv is 'sucking up' some of the sound.. but why.

The mixer is to expencive + i'd still have to press a button.. I now have to pull a cord or put it in. so same effort

Then it can't be solved for less.

I looked around for a mixer that should with a very high degree of certainty solve the issue. Your reply tells me a few things such as you may not have looked at the mixer. There are no buttons at all. Just mixer knobs so we can get it just right.

Any service tech call would be over 100 bucks so from my view we know the cause, now it's up to you to think over how much it's worth to solve. Get others to supply their fix and compare.
