Ultimately, you will be happier with your current sound quality. Ditto for a soundbar. They simply do not cut it, especially compared to what you have now.
I am thinking of switching to wireless speakers for our Home Audio System. My current systems includes.... Yamaha AV Receiver Model HTR-5590, JBL Sub Woofer E25OP and 5 JBL Speakers S36IIPM (4 are mounted on Wall, one near tv). I am ready to get these big speakers off the walls and upgrade to wireless smaller (maybe corner) speakers and a soundbar... but keep the good sound. I am happy with the sound of JBL but am open to suggestions of another brand. (Klipsch?)
Here are my questions....
Do wireless speakers cut in and out? (I would like wireless so we do not have to snake wires through the walls again) Any suggestions for make and model of speakers? Can I keep the receiver and go wireless? Also...would like to add 2 speakers in my kitchen (on top of cabinets) These would be wireless as well. Thanks for any suggestions/help you can offer.
