I would measure it. If it's beyond what the specifications list are normal variances, you can have it serviced. If it is a problem, call 800-SAMSUNG and report the issue.
Parts will be available for those televisions for quite a while.

I just bought an HL61A750 DLP that displays 4:3 programming with the pincushion or hourglass effect. I understand this is normal to some extent. It is even mentioned on Samsung's FAQ. It looks like Samsung's spec is 1/4 inch on this. I haven't measured mine but it looks close to 1/4 inch.
What causes this? If my display is out of spec, is this something a service tech can adjust or do new parts/replacement TV need to be ordered?
I also understand that this TV isn't/won't be made much longer. Are parts/replacement TVs still available?
