Called back and spoke to executive relations today... they did the right thing and are sending someone out this week. Thanks to this board and Samsung for doing right by their customers. Great customer service once I got past level one. Looking forward to getting my TV back...

I posted this yesterday in an old thread and think it may have been lost. Anyway...
More of the same for me... I noticed a bunch of black dots while watching hockey (white screen) last week, and then last night the first "star" aka white dot appeared while watching a movie, then a constellation formed, and now there's a full on galaxy on the left side of the screen. I couldn't believe how fast it deteriorated, and I assume it's only going to get worse when I turn the TV on tonight.
I spoke with a customer rep at 1-800-SAMSUNG, who told me my model wasn't covered, and I would have to schedule and pay for a service call. My model is covered under the Class Action for shadowing, but I assume this is a different issue because the rep claimed to have no idea what I was talking about.
