Try reseating the lamp - that is, pulling it out and pushing it back in (fastening it in and closing up the television). Often times, a simple lamp reseating will do the trick.
If trying that a few times doesn't fix the issue, there's not much I can offer in terms of diagnosing it further. That would require a technician to come out and take a look.
I have an HL-R4226W DLP TV. My bulb recently went out and I replaced it. The TV still isn't producing an image though. The fa starts up, but it doesn't seem tha the bulb is getting enough power to light up. After 15 seconds or so the power button flashes standby/temp, then goes into another cycle of trying to start the lamp. After about 3 cycles, standby, lap, and timer all flash. Any ideas on what the problem is? And is this something I could fix? Maybe a bad fuse, or a bad circuit board?
