Hitachi Plasma lines on screen - HELP!

by 1scooter99 / November 9, 2007 1:27 AM PST

We have a Hitachi HDT51 plasma that is 2 1/2 years old. It has a blue line about a pixel width on the left side of the screen that starts at the top and ends in the middle of the screen and another line on the right side that is red. Any idea what could be wrong?

Two choices to fix this hardware issue.

1. Open the case, find the tech manual somewhere and do it yourself.
2. Go to an authorized service center and let them do it.

Unless you are a qualified tech with the right tools and the right info, I'd choose for option #2.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
