Hitachi 50VX915

Does anyone have any comments or experience with this unit? I am interested in purchasing this or the Hitachi 50SV810 . . . I have read there are issues with the screen glare with the 810 that may not exist with the 915 but can't find any reviews of the 915 or general discussion. Anyone have any insight?

I had one delivered yesterday so have only played with it for a day. Also, it's my first big screen so I don't have anything to compare it to. The two things I noticed are, viewing angles - I bought the Hatachi stand and if you are standing in front of it closer then 8 feet its not a good angle and things look washed. Standing way back like 25 feet it looks much better. It also really reflects light from the outside more then I expected. The normal viewing angles (seated about 15 feet either in front of or off to the side) seem okay as long as there is not much glare. The sales guy set the brightness to 100% for daytime viewing. The audio is pretty good from this unit. The inputs are great and overall pic from Comcast HD cable look great. Some normal local channels look grainey. There is no way to hide the cables with this TV stand. I have not run any DVD's but plan to in the next week. Overall so far I really like it.

Just a quick update, I have been playing several DVD's using the Hitachi DVD player (DVP745U). It's really a great setup. Not one single problem. Music DVD's like Peter Gabriel sound great too. The picture is awesome.
I don't ever notice any screen door thing effects going on. The side angle picture fades out when you move to outside the viewing zone but I think all flat screen stuff is like that. Overall I am very happy with both units.
