1) DO NOT buy a DVD based camcorder.

2) Take the hint from the professionals... They generally don't use internal hard drive (or DVD) based camcorders:

I realize these cams are more $ than the one you are looking at - but even if you don't want to spend that kind of money, you can still use similar tools - and that means miniDV tape... especially if you want to edit the video you capture...
