Hisense tv volume problem

I lost sound on my hisense tv and now I can't control it from my remote or the tv itself. It still has a picture but no sound. I unplugged it from from the wall and can turn it back on but after that I can't do anything. Is this a common problem and if so is it easily fixed?

After years all the ideas are usually played out. So create a new thread after reading all the replies here.

Try the usual factory reset, unplug all HDMI and removing power for about 10 minutes. DO NOT ATTACH HDMI inputs, and test.

As such I think you missed where you have to have all the TV parts to expect it to work. Much like a car, you don't have the key, you can't do much with the car. Folk seem to be getting very entitled in their expectations today.

I keep getting experiencing the same issue. Hisense is now trying to give me the runaround like they want proof of my purchase with the receipt I think they're trying to come up with any reason to deny my warranty even though I did nothing wrong

And if folk don't keep receipts or register it's not the maker's problem and not a runaround. To me this is NOT the same issues above. You don't have your receipt and so it's not the same issue.

was this ever resolved? I have the same issue currently except i didn't lose volume its just stuck on what it was last at. all the remote can do it turn the tv on. Can not turn it off, change input, go to settings, nothing. the buttons on the back of the tv don't respond either. when i called hisense they said they will send me a remote. I responded with let me save you the time and hassle, obviously a remote will not fix it if the buttons on the tv itself do not work either. any button weather tv or remote just brings up the loading circle for 30 seconds but doesn't actually do anything.

Just like your tv . Volume up and down buttons will not work on the set , original remote or the Xfinity remote . I unplug the TV set count to ten and plug in back in wall socket and it works again until next day , everyday same thing . Also channel will freeze , can't change channel . I came here looking for helpful suggestions . Help me please

this is the exact TV I have. I have had it going on almost 2 years. it will not hardly work .. the volume randomly works when it wants to it kicks us out of Netflix and other apps all day long. half the time it wont even open the apps up. youtube makes the weirdest noise I cannot explain. we have to reset it all day everyday to ever use it. what can I do to actually fix the tv because resetting it doesn't help but for 5 mins then I am back to the beginning.

This sounds like a board or button failure.

Time to get repair estimates as the parts involved are not user serviceable.

If you turn it on, try:
1. New batteries in the remote.
2. See if you can factory reset this unknown Hisense model. (Always tell forums the full make, model and age.)

Thanks this is my first time using this. It is a Hisense 55" 4K smart tv H5C series and I've had it for about 6 months. I've changed the batteries in the remote. The only thing I can do from the tv and the remote is turn it back on. Cannot get to the menu for a factory reset.

and a few years back paid for right to sell their TV's under the Japansese "Sharp" name. Sharp is now suing them to get that undone because according to the suit Hisense has been putting out low quality TV's and degrading the Sharp brand name. Take that information for what it's worth.
