Question

Hisense tv volume problem

I lost sound on my hisense tv and now I can't control it from my remote or the tv itself. It still has a picture but no sound. I unplugged it from from the wall and can turn it back on but after that I can't do anything. Is this a common problem and if so is it easily fixed?

Tv problems

My tv started acting up about a week ago. It started with the input screen kept popping up, now the volume went all the way up and we can’t get it to turn down. What can I do??

I'd avoid old threads.

After years all the ideas are usually played out. So create a new thread after reading all the replies here.

Try the usual factory reset, unplug all HDMI and removing power for about 10 minutes. DO NOT ATTACH HDMI inputs, and test.

Factory reset?

How do i factory reset with no remote and how do i control the tv my cell phone has no ir sensor... which is ******** for a samsung not to have

You disregarded the advice about a few things. This old post

As such I think you missed where you have to have all the TV parts to expect it to work. Much like a car, you don't have the key, you can't do much with the car. Folk seem to be getting very entitled in their expectations today.

55” 4K smart LED TV

I bought my Hisense 55” 4K smart LED TV Aug 3, 2017. Within the last couple of weeks, the volume will suddenly more than double without anyone touching the remote. Is there anything I can do about this?

same issue

was this ever resolved? I have the same issue currently except i didn't lose volume its just stuck on what it was last at. all the remote can do it turn the tv on. Can not turn it off, change input, go to settings, nothing. the buttons on the back of the tv don't respond either. when i called hisense they said they will send me a remote. I responded with let me save you the time and hassle, obviously a remote will not fix it if the buttons on the tv itself do not work either. any button weather tv or remote just brings up the loading circle for 30 seconds but doesn't actually do anything.

This is frustrating Sad

I unplug the TV set count to ten and plug in back in wall socket and it works again until next day , everyday same thing . Also channel will freeze , can't change channel . I came here looking for helpful suggestions . Help me please

Hisense 55" Class 4K (2160P) Smart LED TV (55H6D)

this is the exact TV I have. I have had it going on almost 2 years. it will not hardly work .. the volume randomly works when it wants to it kicks us out of Netflix and other apps all day long. half the time it wont even open the apps up. youtube makes the weirdest noise I cannot explain. we have to reset it all day everyday to ever use it. what can I do to actually fix the tv because resetting it doesn't help but for 5 mins then I am back to the beginning.

Answer
This sounds like a board or button failure.

Time to get repair estimates as the parts involved are not user serviceable.

If you turn it on, try:
1. New batteries in the remote.
2. See if you can factory reset this unknown Hisense model. (Always tell forums the full make, model and age.)

Hisense

Thanks this is my first time using this. It is a Hisense 55" 4K smart tv H5C series and I've had it for about 6 months. I've changed the batteries in the remote. The only thing I can do from the tv and the remote is turn it back on. Cannot get to the menu for a factory reset.

At 6 months, use the warranty.

You've done what you can so now it's time for them to fix it.

Hisense is Chinese

and a few years back paid for right to sell their TV's under the Japansese "Sharp" name. Sharp is now suing them to get that undone because according to the suit Hisense has been putting out low quality TV's and degrading the Sharp brand name. Take that information for what it's worth.

Same issie here

Ive ran into the same problem. I have a 2yr old hisense 55" smart tv . What a load of crap. Pretty sure my warranty just expired too LOL my tv volume goes mute and the remote stops working. I have to unplug it to turn off and i can use my remote to turn back on. After its back on the remote becomes completely useless again.

Answer
Loss of Audio

Go into Audio Settings and Restore it back to Factory Default and your sound will return. It is stupid that the tv does this but the volume has been our problem since we bought this 39" Hisense Smart TV two weeks ago.

Hope it helps.

Answer
:/

You could try to change the remote battery.
Other than that, it sounds you will need to call the service.
I actually don't think this is something you can fix, but good luck!
