hijacker spyware

I have 2 spyware files that have embedded itself permanently into my registry keys. I tried antivirus programs, antispam, antispyware, spybot etc..etc...with no success. How do I completely delete this from my windows xp system without having to do a complete system restore?

some times, you can find the file

more than likely, they told you what file that was in. look for it, delete it. i would also try ad aware as it cleaned up my spy ware riddened pc. also, try norton anti virus because they can find at risk files e.g. spyware.

Luv, Which Ones?

...and which spyware removal tools have you used to clean things up? The EXACT spyware title would be helpful. Sometimes, a simply editing of the registry will eliminate...but not always. Frequently, there are also "hidden" files on the computer that recreate the "bad" registry entries. Ferreting out those files is necessary to get the machine completely clean.

Please give us more specifics.

Hope this helps.

Suggested spyware removal tools would be,

2. Spybot Search & Destroy (Free)
3. Spyware Doctor (Free)
4. Webroot Spy Sweeper (Trial)
