Hijacked Browser

My browser has been hijacked. Here is one of the addresses that it changes the home page to
res://clgmg.dll/index.html#10213
I have tried all of the following:
Spybot-Search and Destroy
Adaware
McaFee Virus Scanner
CWShredder

I went to the control panel to delete a program called Search Extender (which I believe) may be the culprit but when I when to delete it I received the followimng message Unable to Open
"http:\\looking-for.cc\uninstall\SearchExtender.html"
Can anybody help me with a suggestion other than the above, that is freeware?

After you get this straightened out, search on Google for Startpage Gaurd.

this one is NOT easy to get rid of yourself (res://clgmg.dll/index.html#10213) as it has a "hidden" installer !

You will need "extra tools" - best is, you download Hijackthis 1.98.2 and post it in a new thread either at Computer Cops or SpywareInfo.

You can download the latest Hijackthis here:

http://www.computercops.biz/downloads-cat-14.html
http://forums.net-integration.net/index.php?showtopic=20686

Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log as a .txt file, and copy and paste its contents into your next post.

Most of what it lists will be harmless, so do not fix anything yet.

then go either here:

HJT forum at Computer Cops: http://www.computercops.biz/

or

SWI - MalWare Removal:

Good Luck !
