Highjacked???

The computer I'm using (Windows XP and Road Runner) has, or had, two e-mail accounts: MSN hotmail and Outlook Express, MSN being the primary account. Yesterday during one of my daring and adventurous learning and experimenting sessions, I tried to establish a Road Runner sub-user account. I managed to accomplish nothing except to somehow inadvertently deactivate and disable my MSN hotmail feature, which no longer appears on the screen. All I have now is Outlook Express. I would like to be able to recover my MSN hotmail and restore all to normal. Would sincerely appreciate any suggestions regarding this seemingly trivial but exasperating situation. (I tried all the self-help stuff to no avail.)
