High Quality in a 5 MP or less?

Nov 1, 2005 11:30AM PST

I am looking for a camera that takes amazing quality pics for under $400. I really only need 4 MP. It is so overwhelming to find the one with the best quality and the least flaws. Everyone seems to say Canon is the best? Anyone have any great testimonials on picture quality? Is Canon the bestest?

The sensor recall covers about seven different makers of cameras. It is in regard to a defective Sony sensor that was used about 2.5 years ago.

The cracked LCD problem is confined to the Canon SD line of cameras.

There are many high quality digital cameras.
I can not name any one Company and say that all of their cameras are the BEST.

Here are some cameras to look at:

Canon A610
Casio Z750
Fujifilm S5200
Kodak Z730
Konica Minolta Z5
Nikon 5900
Olympus SP310
Panasonic FX8
Sony T5
