I found them expensive and prone to failure. What do I do? I plug the monitor into the laptop and some USB dongle for the external keyboard. Seems easy.
Hello I hope someone can suggest some possible solutions. I am looking to buy a high end laptop, ideally as small as possible, that connects to a dock with a graphics cards that supports the two monitors (or maybe the laptop graphics card may be enough).
My perfect configuration is a small laptop that I can bring home every night if needed. But at work, the laptop would connect to a dock, and through the dock I would work on 2 external extended space monitors and wireless keyboard and mouse.
I have been looking at the high end dells and gateways but I can't find one that connects to a dock that accepts two simultaneous monitors. The docks offered by these companies do not seem to support this.
Any ideas of how I can do this. Thank you. Nestor.
