Hiding date/time stamp during 8mm tape playing in TV?

Hi,

Many years ago I've recorded a 8mm tape with an analog (not sure) camcorder, which wasn't mine. Now, my concern is that I want to play the tape without showing date/time which are recorded on it. I've played it with another camcorder some weeks ago and I noticed that date/time didn't show up in the LCD panel. Is it possible to NOT show date/time when connecting in TV through A/V cable?

Manufacturer and model number, please.

From there we find the manual and locate the "Display" options...
