i'm running windows ME. when i check c:/windows/temp it shows 0 object(s)(plus 1 hidden). my question is how can i find this hidden file to delete it. i have run Spyware Nuker and McAfee Virus scan, either of these found anything to show it. i's scared that it might be a hijacker file and will use my e-mail address file or something else more important. please help asap. thank you find people.

To Show Hidden Files and Folders
Nov 29, 2004 12:33PM PST

Go back to c:\windows\temp. Then click on Tools> Folder Options> View tab. In the Avanced Settings select "Show hidden files and folders". (If you want hidden files and folders to be shown for all folders click "Like Current Folder".) Then click "Apply" then "OK".
Close the folder. The next time the folder is openned hidden files and folders will be shown.

Caution, some systems automatically hide "Systems" files and folders for safty reasons. If in doubt weather you are dealing with a System file or folder I would suggest leaving it alone.
