Hi8 to PC?

Mar 3, 2006 2:53AM PST

Have a great Sony TRV87 Hi8 Camcorder. Would like to use it with my IBM NetVista puter. Is it possible? Or should I just dump the Hi8 and buy a digital camcorder?
The Hi8 makes excellant video.

,,, or a stand alone DVD recorder.
The easest way is with a standalone DVD recorder, A/V from the camera to the DVD recorder and record.
If you want the PC route then you need a video caputer card $30~70. Read the info at the link. john
