General discussion

hi Toni, all is well

Dec 24, 2014 3:31AM PST

just my luck that 2014 was a real bummer health wise

last May i went in to hospital for a double femoral by-pass (to solve problems due to Leriche syndrome)
when i woke up the doctor said "anything that could go wrong, did!) after slicing me open they found a
4" growth sitting on my large intestine, a sudden change of plan and 5 days in ICU later i was minus
growth, still with my original problem and a host of nightmares and LSD type illusions that took their
sweet time letting go,
i arrived home after a month in hospital less 26 pounds, weak as a kitten yellowish and with teeth wobbling
as i ate. slept almost non-stop for a week and it took a hell of a lot longer to get to stage where i could a little
and shower on my own than i could ever imagine.

went back in about 3 months ago for another op (not as invasive as the first) and a week in hospital was
enough to get me on my feet and walking without pain happy

so........... all i well, health is appreciated and the family is at peace with the world......

thanks to all who asked/inquired and i wish you all a VERY Happy Christmas and a HEALTHY New Year

go well
stay well
