What you don't want to know is that I've seen too many motherboards with that issue. Here's an article about the issue and you'll need to verify your board doesn't have the problem.
I am new to win 2000 and i have come across a trouble spot with a machine i am working on.Its a Gateway 2000 with a p 3 450 mhz with 128 megs ram i dont remember the video card but here is what i do KNow. It had a virus on this computer which i in turn cleaned out with The help of Spybot and AVG 6.0. The machine will boot through the post ok but gets a hickup when the win 2k screen comes on it then goes blank. I do a warm reboot a wha-la it starts up. I am thinking a Video problem or a cpu any Help i would appreciate . Thanks in advance Joseph Boscoe
