What country?

Here, Dell has such a laptop. I'd get theirs. Also, the Macbook Pro has just under the top for the 3D chipset. Nice choice too.

In reply to: hi...

The current laptops you can buy are never "with out any problem". As such I can't recommend any current offering.

Are you willing to accept today's problems?

Such as Vista.

Just visit our Vista Forum. And then that issue about over 2GB RAM, heat during gaming, etc. These devices are not without issue so we take our chances here.

In some use don't need the best of graphics cards. Why not look at more run of the mill but fast CPU machines with 2.0GB RAM?

I think you need some Toshiba laptops... they are great for gaming and newer products have great specs you can find some at laptop-top.com or amazon.com or just simply by googling it... Good luck, hope I helped.

Best laptop
by Iron Felix / March 12, 2008 5:09 AM PDT

If you want the BEST laptop with extreme specs you should go for Dell XPS M1730, or wait untill Alienware M17x will be released.
Specs:
Processor: Core 2 Extreme 2.8Ghz
Video: Nvidia 8800 GTX Sli (1GB)
Hard drive: from 200GB to 640 (or even 900GB with Alienware)
Ramm: 4gb (be sure to get Vista not XP)
I am going for Alienware and I think it will last for at least 4 years

Tell me about that 4GB

The stock os only shows 3.5GB plus limits apps to 2.0GB.

Why more than 2?

4GB

It won't be limited with Vista 64 bit. And your apps will work much faster, or you can run more apps at the same time. Plus there already games which require 2 gb ramm (if I'm not mistaken) so you can expect that in 1 or 2 years time requirements might go up

Vista 64 is proving to be painful.

Sluggish updates for drivers (to none), limited choices in antivirus and more.

It's not ready.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
