Hello. I'm a graduated highschool student waiting to start school in march, and for that I'll need a new laptop to start off my new uni life.
In grade 10 I was into PC hardwares and gaming (I still am), but as grade 11 and 12 approached I had too much things on mind (uni entrance and such) that I stopped gaming. So now I'm so lost on track.
When I was in grade 10, so about 3 or 2 years ago, PC's newest hardwares were something like GeForce FX 5950 Ultra, Radeon 9800, Intel Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz HT, DDR Ram PC3200 512GB, and so on...
Now that I need a computer Im starting my research and I notice there're many new technologies I'm not farmiliar with such as
Core 2 Duo E6300(?), Core Duo, DDR2 667Mhz, Geforce GO 7400 Turbo cache, and so on...
I need to be re-educated on the latest computer hardware developments, so if anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for reading a long boring thread.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
