Hi, I am looking for the best ant spyware/virus/ program

Hi, my name is Vincent and I am a 22 year old college student. Recently, Have become infected with several of these annoying verman over the years; but this time I think It may have hurt my hard drive (Every time I try to remove It with one of Iolo's programs the computer goes go the "Blue Screen of Death," but it shuts down to fast to get any information from it. I am now going to provide some of my specs ask if you need more in depth info - Purchased: 12/29/2007. - CPU: Phenom 9600 (4 Cores) Oh and my OS is vista home premium 32 vit. I have about 500 Gb hard disk. Four GB of Ram, a poor quality CD/DVD RW. syncmaster 2232BW/22332GW )1680x 1050) anyways PLEASE let me know of the best way to deal with this issue.
