Hi Guys It's Me Again

This time I got a Problem With My Dads Laptop Its An M-TECH D900T Windows Xp Crashed On Him So He Installed Ubuntu But He Didn't Like It So He Installed Mandrake And Than He Tried Installing Windows Again But It said There Was A Problem with the hardware and it said it can't install so my dad tried SUSE linux And Fedora Core 6 Than He Installed Mandrake again then he restarted his computer and it started up and said no Operating System So he tried installing Mandrake again he restarted and Screen didn't work so he hooked it up to a screen and there was weird Red Blue And Orange Bars. Can You guys help me and him

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
