You can do another online scan at another Av website, like Norton, Kaspersky, etc., and see what it reports. Under typical situations, Amazon isn't installing a trojan, though it maybe though of as one, like in "false positive" because of the action the pgm. uses or takes to do its function. the immediate safe way, is yes simply de-install Amazon, especially if you don't use it. Amazon is still available just by going to its std. online services. You can also report it to Amazon and/or check its forums to see if anyone else is reporting the same. Also, check the Panda forum itself to see what if any forum reports are being offered. These are actions you take at your own discretion.
My O.S. is Windowos 7 H.P. 64 Bits Pentium (R) T4300@ 2.10. GHZ RAM 4.00 GB... I use AVG Free Edition 2011 that don't detects it...I made an on line san with Panda that detects a Virus/Trojan in C:\program files\ amazon\uninstaller\uninstalleramazon.exe
I submt the file to Jotti's malware scans and the result was that 9 in 20 declares it' a Trojan...
Amazon came intalled in my PC.
What must I do? Just go the Control Panel and uninstall Amazon? That is enought safe and what else must I do?
Thanks, in advance, for helpig.
