Question

hi all, can anyone help...ac adapter not charging.

i have a dell 1545 and ive had to get a new ac adapter but it wont charge the battery although it accepts its plugged in...is it because its not a dell adapter even though its 65w.....doin me head in.

A/C adapter(s)

It is generally best to use an OEM adapter rather than universal most of us have seen issues with after market inverters/adapters. The other thing to consider would be the battery. The adapter can be checked for output with a volt meter and that would be the first thing to do before buying anything, battery or adapter.

Thanks, already bought a new battery but no joy. w hat is an oem adapter and where can i get one from.
