I have the HG20 and have the settings set as high as they go (MXP, LW, S.) So I assume my videos are HD (1920x1080.) When I play the .mts files on my computer (Athlon II X4 630 2.8ghz Quad Core, 4gig DDR3 1600, Windows 7 Ultimate RC) in Windows Media Player 12 @ 100%, they do not fill my screen like I would expect. My monitor resolution is 1600x1200 (CRT, VGA.) They play just fine but are only in a small window (about 800x600.) Am I doing something wrong? Are these videos really HD or not? Does the transfer method from camcorder to PC matter? I don't have the software that cam with the camera installed. I just plugged in the USB and copied the .mts files to my harddrive.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
