HF100 recording sporting events question

Hoping someone can help me determine the best settings to use on my HF100 for recording my kids' sporting events. How can I get the least amount of blurring? Is 30p or 60i better? Does putting it in 'Tv' mode and increasing shutter speed make a difference?

Any help would be appreciated.
