But I use a HOSTS file that blocks such, plus I make sure all my cookies are frequently cleaned out. It would be a good idea for you to "reset" your browser to take your browser back to its default state. Since you didn't tell us which browser you're using, you'll have to Google "reset Internet Explorer" or what ever browser you're using.
If you're interested in scanning for malware, the scanners in the link below will remove most bad stuff that I've had issues with. Follow the steps in the link exactly as written, in the order given. The scans will take a while but they should find any problems.

- What happened?
Not so long ago I reinstalled my W10 after coming to Russia. I searched the websites like Netflix and Adobe just fine and did not encounter any problems.
However, when came to US, I started getting advertisements on top of the website, which you can close but will pop up upon refresh or moving to a next page. What's interesting, only 2 websites effected - Adobe.com and Netflix.com
-What I think is the cause
That possibly could be some type of program I downloaded which goes around my AdBlock and VPN. No matter what, when I change my virtual location the language stays the same (Russian). On Adobe it stays English. But maybe the websites advertise it themselves? The scan of my Windows Defender doesn't give much.
What should I do? What anti-virus should I download to get rid of this stuff?
