Question? How about a Rattle Snake? Can they be kept in captivity, trained, and de-poisoned. Just wondering, as I never hear of anyone keeping them as pets.

yes we can keep here in GA

in ga you can keep any venomus snake native to GA with out any permits shudder
we keep some along with copper heads in club

as to defanging they grow back,

theres butchers cutting the connection between fang and gland, but that will kill snake eventually as the venom helps digesting prey.

allso its been shown connection can grow back and bingo your in venomated.

no licensed vet would do this butchery

they are not too popular for pets. I like the sound they make and the way they coil up. Course thats on TV. Never saw or met one live. Thanks for the info Mark

my bull snakes and black rat vibrate there tails you should hear it
