...... to what happened a little more than a mile from me.

In a store that sells donated items is where the authentic copy of the Declaration of Independence was in a box a fellow bought for #2.50.

A rare 1823 copy of the U.S. Declaration of Independence was sold for almost $500,000 at an auction of historical collectibles by a man who purchased it a year ago for less than $2.50 from a Nashville, Tennessee, thrift store.

I heard about that. I think that's where I learned about "official copies" or whatever of the Declaration.
