i recently purchased a mp1003 curtis 1gb player
and when i plug the usb port into the computer it does not read it
it dosent even detect new hardware.
Is their sumthing I need to download??
it wont even turn on when i plug it in.

A stumper. Here's why.

Not a word about the host PC. Or if it works on someone else's PC.

As it stands you neglected the Forum Note (words in red) and may have a dead device or an issue with your PC. But look at your post. Not much to work with.

MY computer has USB Hubs, but they are 1.1 USB's. If I had a MP3 player and it requires a USB 2.0 hub, it won't work. It is a question of compatibilty.
