help-zen micro

I got my creative zen micro a few weeks ago and i have loved it until it started messing up. when i listen to a song, only one ear piece of the headphones works, so i can only hear out of one ear. I though the headphones must have stopped working or something, so i used new headphones, but got the same result. should i take it back?
