Hello, Im trying to do a windows 8 refresh with saving my files. However when I try I get the message "The drive where windows is installed is locked, unlock the drive and try again." But it doesn't say how to unlock it. Any help is appreciated.

Ok I tried this and once in there I don't see how to change anything, all the selections are "gray" and all the box's are checked.
This is how you tried to do it: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/restore-refresh-reset-pc ?
Anyway, http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-system/the-drive-where-windows-is-installed-is/ef84fc5a-578a-4216-9d99-dc202ec279c0 doesn't look too promising.
I didn't look at other hits google found when I asked it to search for the error message you quote, so maybe one of those has a better solution than a clean install from the original DVD.
