Help with vpn

by petersilva / July 7, 2012 12:52 AM PDT

I work at home and vpn into the office. Once there I open apps that I use for the job. However there is one app that will not let me past the login. I have seen a message about an expired certificate, but the main message is unauthorized error 401.
I have been told that it is a firewall issue. I have McAffee and looked at the firewall settings and do not see anything about certificates nor do I see a blacklist for that app.
Any help will be appreciated
Pete

Next time this happens go into Windows Event Viewer and check the logs for error messages.

If the kind helper offered advice about the firewall, wouldn't we turn that off and test it?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
