Help with task bar!!!

by CoreyP / January 17, 2006 12:51 AM PST

I just upgraded from 2k to XP. On 2K i could have all my desktop icons and icons for programs i use down on the task bar above open applications. Im sure theres a way to do this on XP so i dont have to go to my desktop or the start menu every time to open a new program. I hope i made sense. Thanks for the help!

CoreyP, Right click the Taskbar and unlock the Taskbar, then right click the Taskbar>Toolbars and checkmark Quick Launch. You can then create shortcuts down to the Quick Launch area to the right of the Start button.

Turn it on? Next, stretch the taskbar to a little higher and more the quicklaunch to where you want it.
